September 9th Central Illinois Dragway held its annual fall nostalgia race and man what an event it was with 40 plus nostalgia gassers in the house representing three different gasser groups including the Brew City Gassers LLC, Nostalgia Gassers Association and the Illinois Outlaw Gassers. All made up a mix of some different and cool looking gassers.

If nostalgia super stocks are your thing there were plenty of them on hand with the Nostalgia Super Stock Inc and the True Nostalgia Super Stocks in the house. They put on a great show with some classic period correct cars.

If you like high rpms, stick shifted cars with long smokey burnouts and big wheel stands you weren’t disappointed as the Ozark Mountain Super Shifters were back in action at Central Illinois Dragway.

The Midwest Pro Stock group was on hand with four of their Pro Stock Cars and put on a great match race show. You may want to follow this group as they continue to grow.

The quick eight class provided some fast cars with altereds, dragsters and door cars all trying for the top eight stops.

The Box and No Box classes had a variety of cool looking vehicles along with the JR dragsters. It’s always great to watch the future of the sport competing.
