The Mid-West Nostalgia Pro Stock Association “Paying Tribute to the Legends” had a great looking display
with six Nostalgia Pro Stocks from their racing stable. It seemed that that was the booth to see and be seen.
We witnessed a host of NHRA heavy hitters hanging around bench racing with the guys.
Bob Gillig, Kevin Lawrence, Jim Parks, Doug and Steve Roden, Jason Line, Adam Drazayich Wayne Jesel,
Arnie Kann, Jim Pydo, Scott and Laura Fletcher and more.
Boy to be a fly on the wall.
“Jungle” George Kubis does battle in the Nostalgia pro Stock ranks with this perfect rendition of “Billy the Kid” Steps Ronnie Sox driven Arrow. With a Keith Black HEMI backed by a manually shifted 4 speed Lenco this short wheelbase rocket is a crowd pleaser.
Another beautiful Nostalgia Pro Stock on display in the Mid-West Nostalgia Pro Stocks Association arena was this Sox and Martin themed
1974 Plymouth duster. Owned and driven by Ted Peters it is also HEMI powered and Ted manually shifts the Lenco transmission.
Steve and Teresa Stanic brought the original Machak and Offerman Pro Stock Vega out for the weekend. Still wearing the original paint
and lettering from 1972 the Vega is always a hit with the crowds that come to watch the Mid-West Nostalgic Pro Stocks Race.
Scott and Dawn Hoffman’s ‘ShowHoff’ Camaro aka “world’s fastest bass boat” was on display in the
Midwest Nostalgia Pro Stock Association’s booth. The metal flake paint looks 10 feet deep and the shine is off the cart cool.
